When little Dagur was "on his way" I bought a pretty FQ bundle with retro boys fabrcis. As soon as the bundle arrived from USA I started cutting for a baby quilt. I made a big mistake, I cut it in front of the tv!! BAD idea... LOL, when the show was over I had cut the WHOLE bundle and I had enought for six quilts!!! Well, there was nothing to do but make more than one quilt, I whipped up four and still have enough cut fabric for two more. The quilts were all alike except for the border.
I blogged about Dagur's quilt almost two years ago (phew time flies!) but the other quilts have taken a bit longer time - I've been grabbing them now and then, quilting and sewing down the bindings. One of the three has already gone home with it's owner, the border on that one was from the light aeroplanes fabric (I'm not sure you can see it clearly in one of the hexagons on the photo) and I didn't take picture off it before it strolled away... but here are pictures of the other two with Dagur's quilt in the middle (the polka dot border of course) :)
The two quilts will be birthday presents for two little boys in the end of June
Oh and here is little Dagur asleep - and you can see our master bed quilt beside him :)
