Well, according to my blog I haven't posted since October 15th!!
That doesn't mean I'm just sitting around doing nothing, oh no folks! Besides taking care of the home and the family I'm knitting a new lopi sweater for Davíð (almost 10 years old), just like Dagur's little sweater. Davíð wants him and his brother to have matching sweaters, cute :)
I've also made two more Swoon blocks. They are HUGE, 24" - sewing one is like making a whole tablecloth. Four are done, five more left. I'm really happy with the fabric choice (I bought a Blogger's Choice Fat Quarter Bundle at the Fatquartershop.com and added three more fats) and I think it goes well with this pattern.
I did make a tiny (irritating) mistake when I was cutting the fabrics for block #4... can you see it? (Answer carefully, you might not be invited over here again!!... just kidding)... I accidentally cut two 3,5" pieces instead of 3 7/8". This was a really bad thing because I only had little scrap left and if I had to order more of this fabric I had to buy at least 0.5 yard!!! (not that I'm used to complain about a fabric-must-buy!) - So I used the little scrap I had and piced it to the two 3,5" pices to make two 3 7/8"... well, this is pathcwork, right? :)
Block #3 (I love the colors here)
Block #4 (the mistake-block)
And now I must go back to household/family things like laundry and dinner planning... but that's okay because tonight I'm going with my oldest child, Andrea (11) to see the (I'm holding my breath) St. Petersburg ballet perform the Swan Lake at Harpa, the Reykjavik's biggest concert house... Anna, you know it :)
Gosh, what shall I wear?? Something pieced maby?? LOL!!
