I made this scarf last winter. I started when participating a volleyball tournament in october and finished it sometimes after the new year.
The pattern is from Rowan (Rowan knitting and crochet magazin #50) but I didn't want to spend money on the Rowan yarn. So I used icelandic Létt Lopi instead (much cheaper). I'm really satisfied with the scarf but I must say I maybe should have spent some on the Rowan yarn. I heard once you shouldn't be cheap on your work, since you spend a lot of effort and time on it. I'm not saying the Létt lopi was a bad choice (I love the Lopi) but the result would have been different.
Most of the piece I made on volleyball tournaments and while waiting for my two ballerinas taking class. This is an excellent "on the go" project, just one needle and always the same repetition (although one repetition is 17 rows).
I loved crocheting this scarf, maybe I'll make another one, and from Rowan yarn. If I would, I would not close it to make it a circle, I would make it a traditional scarf instead.

what a gorgeous girl with a gorgeous scarf.......
