Last year I was asked to show a different way to make triangle-squares at a meeting for the Icelandic Patchwork and Quilting Association. The strips are first sewned together, then pressed and then cut. This way you should get 100% perfect triangle-squares.
To demonstrate this, I made this tablecloth (pattern from Modabakeshop). It's made from 400 triangle-squares.
For many years I've been wanting to be able to machine quilt feathers. Last weekend I decided I would manage it. So I spent two days, practicing feathers with a pencil on a paper. Then I just did it. I'm really pleased with the resault and this was a great fun to do!! I'm guessing I will be quilting feathers on every project for a while now... just like it was when I mastered the stippling stitch!

love the quilting........

Is there an English version on the different method? This is interesting!
