One of my kid's favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when I noticed that Andover Fabrics have made a wonderful fabric line with the graphics from the book, how PERFECT!! So, at this very moment, I'm in my sewing room cutting fabrics for two Caterpillar quilts, one for my Arna, and one for my brother's baby (due in November). Next weekend I'm going with three friends to a quilting weekend in Skagafjörður, north of Iceland. I think I'll make the two Caterpillar quilts there, so I'm cutting in advance.

Ein af uppáhalds bókum barnanna minna er Gráðuga lirfan eftir Eric Carle (fæst því miður ekki lengur á íslensku). Þið getið því ímyndað ykkur hvað ég varð glöð þegar ég sá að Andover Fabrics efnaframleiðandinn hefur sett á markað efnalínu með myndskreytingum úr bókinni, en FULLKOMIÐ! Þannig að, akkúrat núna, er ég í saumaherberginu að skera í tvö lirfuteppi, annað handa Örnu minni og hitt handa ófæddu barni bróður míns (sett í nóvember). Næstu helgi ætla ég með þremur vinkonum á Löngumýri í Skagafirði á vegum Quiltbúðarinnar. Ég held að ég saumi teppin þar og þá er gott að vera búin að skera í þau.

búin að skera niður í Urban baby teppið og pakka því saman fyrir THE LONGSWAMP og er að leggja drög að öðru verkefni....ooooooooohhhh ég hlakka svo til .....er líka að klára barna teppi sem verða í farteskinu.....svo keypti ég ponsulítð smá handa okkur svo við getum allar verið í stíl.....stelpur muna svo eftir merkisenglunum okkar
