Summer payoff

I've been knitting quite alot this summer. I use Lopi, the icelandic wool and the patterns are all traditional icelandic. Here are pictures of some of the sweaters I've made for the family for winter surviving :)

Two for me (I wasn't happy enough with the first one (the upper one) so I made another - handa mér, ég var ekki nógu ánægð með þá fyrstu (þessa efri) svo ég prjónaði aðra:


 

I also made one for Andrea, I've already shown you, so now every family member, except the cat has a lopi sweater for winter :)

Ég prjónaði líka eina á Andreu, ég var búin að setja inn myndir hérna áður, svo nú eiga allir fjölskyldumeðlimir (tja, nema kannski kötturinn) hlýja peysu fyrir veturinn :)

those sweaters are so neat! and you made them - you do such a good job. I am going to take knitting lessons this fall and try to learn. I do not know if I would ever be able to make something as good as these though. (I can't wear wool though it makes me itch by my neck and underarms!)

Flottar peysur! Èg hef ekki prjónad lópapeysur sidan 1986 thegar ég bjó á Íslandi, en thá prjónadi ég á alla fjölskyldunni, og ömmurnar med. Ég var heima hjá systir mín í sumar, og fekk tvær af thessar peysur med mér heim. Bádar passa ennthá, og litur ennthá mjög vel út!

"Já sæll" aldeilis dugleg, enda er það svo afslappandi að prjóna, ég er einnig búin að gera eina fyrir sjálfa mig og byrjuð á annari lopaslá með ermum, eiginmaðurinn farin að vísu að biðja um líka en það kemur að honum með tíð og tíma. Kv. Fríða Ág.
