Andrea (7) sent her first quilt today for a competition for kids at Festival of Quilts in Birmingham August 2009. The theme is Pearls of the Orient. Please let me know if you will go there and see her quilt hanging proudly :)

How wonderful is that - such a talented girl - you have a great quilter coming up! Tell her I think it is great. I will not be in Birmingham to see it but I bet you are proud.

Wow what a great job for a seven year old girl. I would love to see the quilt at the show but I cant go there but I wish Andrea good luck for the competition.

Hurray for Andrea! What a wonderful little quilt she has made. You must be so proud of her Berglind and rightly so. I see more quilts in her future.
