Yes it can... when the fabrics you're sewing from are this sweet!!
When decorating my house for Easter, I realized I didn't have any proper table cloth for the holiday. So, what does a quilter do in a situation like this? Easy answer... she makes one :)
Few montsh ago I bought Marti Mitchell Hexagon book together with the templates needed to make the quilts in the book. I just browsed the book and then left it aside for later. Few weeks ago, my fellow quilter, Helga Hauks made a beautiful quilt using Marti Mitchell's method. I was so impressed I decided this would be a great way to make a table cloth for Easter. I'm quite happy with the resault although the colors are a bit too sweet for my taste... good thing, Easter holiday takes only 5 days :)
I loved Marti Mitchell's templates and method, I can't wait to try something else from it!
Happy Easter!

Hi Berglind! It was so nice to read your email and know all is well. It is good to see some blog posts again. Love the Easter tabletopper! By chance, I am making a quilt similar to this. It has three sections to each triangle but also forms the hexagon shape like this one. I posted about it back in January but need to update about it one day. Did you have a nice Easter? How is your weather there? We have warmth and sunshine for our long Easter weekend in Holland.
Hugs ~
